JOB DESCRIPTION
We're a dynamic, rapidly growing company seeking a driven and experienced Director of Sales to lead our expansion and revenue opportunities.We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Director of Sales to drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients within the recruiting, staffing firm and ATS provider sectors. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and cultivating new relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the recruiting landscape and a strong network of contacts within the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Prospecting and Sales: Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with recruiting firms and ATS providers across the United States.
- Relationship Building: Leverage existing, tangible connections within the recruiting industry to generate leads and build trust with potential clients.
- ATS Cross-Selling: Utilize experience selling ATS software to effectively cross-sell Dakota's AI recruiting solutions to existing and prospective ATS provider clients.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and pipeline progress.
- Product Expertise: Work closely with the product team to become a subject matter expert on Dakota's AI recruiting solutions and effectively communicate their value proposition to clients.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Sales Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Sales and Marketing Material Development: Develop comprehensive sales and marketing materials, including presentations, proposals, and go-to-market strategies, to support the sales process.
Qualifications:
- Proven Sales Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the recruiting or HR technology industry.
- Established Network: Demonstrated history of building and maintaining strong relationships with recruiting firms and/or ATS providers. Tangible, verifiable connections are a must.
- ATS Software Expertise: Significant experience selling ATS software solutions, with a strong understanding of their functionalities and integration points.
- AI Technology Interest: A keen interest in AI and its application in the recruiting industry.
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong Negotiation and Closing Skills: Proven ability to negotiate and close complex sales deals.
- Self-Motivation and Drive: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Remote Work Capability: Ability to work effectively in a remote environment within the United States.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: $175,000 - $275,000 (commensurate with experience & network)
- Variable Compensation: Generous commission structure and performance-based bonuses.
