Pharmacy Call Center Representative

Description
Rx Unlimited is hiring for a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, located in San Fernando Valley, to support our patients. This is a phone-only position. No email or chat. We make outbound calls to reach our patients regarding their prescriptions. By extending your friendly and positive attitude through the phone, you will create lasting customer connections. You bring the desire to succeed as a customer service professional and we'll provide the necessary training. Previous work experience in healthcare, administrative, retail service, or call center industries is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Handling inbound and outbound phone communications with patients
  • Charging patient cards for their orders and notating their accounts
  • Reaching out to patients to obtain information required to process prescription refills and new prescription verifications
  • Responding to customer requests, data entry, record maintenance, and other clerical duties

  • QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 1-2 years call center experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years exposure to healthcare environments

  • NICE TO HAVE
  • Familiarity with a compounding pharmacy setting
  • Experience with PK software
  • Familiarity with HIPPA compliance guidelines

  • SCHEDULE
  • Monday - Fridays from 8:30-5:00pm
  • Compensation
    Up to $22/hr depending on experience
